How Is Lard Soap Made?

Lard soap is made by combining rendered lard with lye (sodium hydroxide) and, often, other nourishing oils like olive or coconut. The mixture is blended, poured into molds, and left to cure for several weeks. The result is a mild, long-lasting bar that’s gentle on skin.
